Explore Joshua Springs Park and Preserve, a 365-acre Texas Hill Country destination located between Comfort and Boerne where outdoor adventure, family recreation, and natural beauty come together year-round. With eight miles of multi-use trails winding through diverse terrain, the park offers an ideal setting for hiking, biking, jogging, wildlife observation, and simply reconnecting with nature.
The landscape is rich with native habitat, making it a favorite for birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Regular bird censuses and abundant wildlife viewing opportunities offer visitors a deeper connection to the Hill Country ecosystem.
Beyond the trails, the park’s nine-acre lake—fed by Little Joshua Creek—provides opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and peaceful waterfront moments. Anglers can cast for bass, catfish, and crappie, while paddlers can enjoy a scenic day on the water.

Joshua Springs is also designed with families and groups in mind. Spacious pavilions, shaded picnic areas beneath towering Texas Live Oaks, and a two-acre off-leash dog park make it easy for everyone—including four-legged companions—to enjoy the day. Disc golf adds another layer of recreation for those looking to explore the grounds in a different way.
